Supply Chain Policy

As ASAŞ Aluminum, we aim to work for a sustainable world in line with our Management Policy. We care about establishing relationships based on trust with all our stakeholders, and aim to expand our responsible and sustainable supply chain approach. In line with this approach, we support the items summarized below by commited;

  • To develop supply chain business models that provide competitive advantage and increase loyalty with all our stakeholders,
  • To provide the customer's expectations in quality, cost, delivery, communication, design support and all other issues with the highest level and most effective cost management,
  • To assess the social, environmental and governance risks of our product and service suppliers; to develop lean and value-added continuous improvement methods,

  • To manage materials, information, technology, money, methods, workforce and all other resources in the supply chain network in an effective and integrated manner,

  • To act in accordance with the standards while managing the supply chain policy, all international and national regulations/standards, especially the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the United Nations (UN), which covers management system conditions, information security principles, human rights (preventing child labor and discrimination), gender equality and ethical approaches,
  • To avoid any action that supports illegal conflicts, violates human rights and provides financial support while not using “conflict minerals” in our activities as ASAŞ,

Our business mentality requires that we only work with suppliers that are capable of consistently meeting our standards and specifications and are aligned with our corporate values. We expect our suppliers not only to comply with the rules, but also to make reasonable efforts to exceed expectations and to encourage continuous improvement throughout their business operations. The rules applies to all our contract suppliers and business partners who are expected to transfer these requirements into their supply chains. We commit to cooperate with all our stakeholders in this regard.
