Standing out with its integrated manufacturing capabilities, large-scale profile production capacity and sustainable manufacturing approach, ASAŞ presented its advanced production technologies—including its 150 MN extrusion press—and a comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions.
At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, the global platform focused on the future of commercial vehicles, automotive, trailers and transportation, ASAŞ welcomed industry professionals from around the world at Hall 25, Stand C30. The company showcased innovative aluminum solutions designed to help the logistics and automotive industries reduce their carbon footprint while improving operational efficiency by lowering vehicle weight.
As emissions standards become increasingly stringent and the transition to e-mobility accelerates, lightweighting and sustainability are becoming critical requirements for commercial vehicles. To address this growing demand, ASAŞ operates one of Europe’s highest-capacity extrusion presses, its 150 MN extrusion press, enabling the in-house production of large-scale profiles measuring up to 1,000 mm in width, 670 mm in height and 30 meters in length.
At its 45 MN Hybrex extrusion press line, which delivers energy efficiency of up to 50%, ASAŞ manufactures high-strength structural components, particularly profiles for electric vehicle bodies and battery enclosures.
Driving Decarbonization Through Low-Carbon Aluminum
Putting environmental responsibility at the center of its manufacturing operations, ASAŞ is translating its decarbonization ambitions into tangible solutions through NexAL, its low-carbon aluminum billet brand.
Produced using low-carbon primary raw materials, recycled scrap and IREC-certified renewable energy, NexAL (≤4 tCO₂e/tAl) offers lot-based traceability and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), directly supporting global manufacturers in reducing their Scope 3 emissions.
End-to-End Manufacturing for Next-Generation Commercial Vehicles
From melting and casting to precision CNC machining, advanced robotic welding on 120-meter production lines and delivery of assembly-ready kits, ASAŞ manages its manufacturing processes through an integrated production infrastructure. The company provides a broad range of solutions, from battery enclosures and chassis components to modular trailer profiles.
By reducing overall vehicle weight, ASAŞ’s solutions can increase payload capacity and, in electric commercial vehicles, contribute to extended driving range.
