The artist also took the opportunity of trying his own technique on painted and unpainted aluminium plate, which is recognized as the metal of the future. The students that attended this event also took the chance of using this new technique. The theme of the event was “Meeting of Industry and Art” and artists and artist candidates came together in an industrial platform for the first time. ASAŞ leads the sector with its efforts at ASAŞ ART which combines industry with art as the first workshop in this field in Turkey. ASAŞ ART Workshop aims to be a learning, sharing, designing and production platform that brings art and design students together with academicians and professionals, and a center that enables artists and designers to apply their creative ideas freely and a workshop where new thoughts and application methods are demonstrated and tried with interdisciplinary approaches.

ASAŞ ART acts as a training platform to introduce the possibilities and extend the use of aluminium as a material in various fields of art and also provides professional workshop service so that artists and designers can create their works of art. In this regard, ASAŞ provides artisan support to artists.

ASAŞ ART, which plans to build a sculptures garden within the factory, supports art and artists and also introduces art to its employees. ASAŞ believes that knowing, loving and embracing art will open up a new window in the world of all of its employees. Therefore to extend this awareness spouses and children of employees will be able to attend courses and seminars at the workshop in the next periods. Also, the aim is to develop projects to enable our handicapped friends to create works of art in line with the social responsibility activities of ASAŞ.
