Advanced Aluminium Technologies focuses on two core product groups: Closed-Cell Aluminium Foam and Mechanically Produced Aluminium Powders.

Closed-Cell Aluminium Foam

Developed by ASAŞ, Closed-Cell Aluminium Foam is an advanced aluminium material distinguished by its high strength-to-weight ratio and energy absorption capabilities.

The material is produced in large-format 3D blocks of up to 3000 × 1500 × 500 mm, with densities ranging from 0.5 to 0.9 g/cm³, providing flexibility for different application requirements.

Manufactured from 100% recycled aluminium using 100% renewable electricity, aluminium foam combines lightweight performance with excellent crash energy absorption and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) damping capabilities.

These properties create new design opportunities for transportation, mobility, defence, construction, machinery and other high-performance industrial applications. Its large-format block structure also enables integration into advanced sandwich panels and lightweight structural designs.

Mechanically Produced Aluminium Powders

ASAŞ's Mechanically Produced Aluminium Powders are developed as a sustainable and reliable feedstock for metallurgical, chemical and advanced industrial applications.

With a dedicated annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes, the powders are produced through an inert nitrogen process and are available in controlled particle-size classes:

  • < 2 mm
  • < 1 mm
  • < 250 µm
  • < 100 µm

Produced from high-purity aluminium using 100% renewable electricity, ASAŞ aluminium powders offer controlled particle sizes and consistent production capabilities to meet the requirements of different industrial processes.

The product range provides a versatile aluminium feedstock for applications across metallurgy, chemistry, advanced manufacturing technologies and other industrial processes.
